How Vivaldi Can Get Even Better

The more I use Vivaldi, the more I miss pluses from Firefox and Chrome. In this blog I will point out things that I think would make Vivaldi a better browser and point to its need to change and refine other aspects.

First, a compliment. The setting feature is superior and arranged to quickly find what change one is looking for. The V on the top left is a great idea, better than Firefox’s one that I stopped using in some of its builds. The “Display All” is a great idea.

Now, something I do not like: Speed Dial. When I tried disabling it, it still remains as a tab. The Speed Dial is nowhere as good as FVD Speed Dial if it is configured  in a way to show webpages with their own logos or one you have downloaded and installed from Google Images.

Also, there appears to be no very easy way to get to the Status Bar. Every change should be intuitive. The method of changing the size of each page the Status Bar unless you use the keyboard is clunky, not as easy as the competition, and it had issues with the browser remembering my individual choices for web size percentages.

I did not insert a picture on this blog, because unfortunately Vivaldi has not make that easy.

Good luck with the browser. I hope I can be of help to make it better having used every browser since Netscape days and before. ‘Till the nest post.
